IAM Engineer


  • Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions, including authentication, authorization, and access management.
  • Recommend, develop, and enforce IAM policies, standards, and procedures to ensure secure and efficient access to systems and data.
  • Conduct regular IAM system reviews, assessments, and health checks to ensure optimal performance, identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Integrate IAM systems with existing and new applications, ensuring seamless and secure access.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business units, to understand and address IAM needs.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for IAM-related issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in IAM and cybersecurity.
  • Perform on-going optimization of the identity platform(s) to ensure functionality, availability, and scalability.
  • Participate in the Change Management process including creating new change requests, reviewing submitted change forms, peer reviewing submitted change requests, implementing IAM changes and peer reviewing IAM changes.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security (or similar field) with a minimum of five (5) years cybersecurity experience desired, or a minimum of seven (7) years cybersecurity experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience with one or more of the following IAM Solutions: Okta, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra, RSA, any other platform that involves identity foundations.
  • Extensive knowledge of data security practices and systems; NIST, ISO, etc.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and standards, including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and Kerberos.
  • Ability to interact with customers, vendors, and project managers on a regular basis to support implementations, change management and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working in a leading ticketing system and prioritizing workflow based on criticality and urgency.
  • Excellent communications and teamwork skills.
