IT Manager

In support of that mission, we are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee all IT functions at our company. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the industry’s best practices and a commitment to staying current with technological advancements. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our network and server infrastructure, aligning IT strategies with business goals, and implementing robust security measures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise IT Operations:
- Oversee daily operations of the company's network and server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Manage the IT team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective performance.
IT Infrastructure Management:
- Align IT infrastructure and strategies with current and future business requirements and organizational goals.
- Plan and implement infrastructure changes and upgrades to meet evolving needs.
Budgeting and Cost Management:
- Develop and manage IT budgets, forecast expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor expenditures, optimize resource allocation, and manage cash flow related to IT operations.
Risk Management and Recovery:
- Evaluate potential risks and develop comprehensive network recovery and backup processes.
- Implement disaster recovery plans and ensure business continuity through effective IT strategies.
Hardware and Software Management:
- Assess, evaluate, and recommend the purchase of new or replacement hardware and software solutions.
- Oversee the procurement process, ensuring that all IT assets are maintained and utilized effectively.
Compliance and Regulation:
- Ensure that all IT activities comply with applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
- Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to IT policies.
System Testing and Troubleshooting:
- Regularly test, troubleshoot, and adjust information systems to optimize performance and address any issues.
- Ensure that systems are operating effectively and efficiently, with minimal downtime.
Security Implementation:
- Implement and manage security measures for the network, data, and communication systems.
- Protect the company’s digital assets against unauthorized access, cyber threats, and data breaches.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role within a Security Operations environment.
- Strong knowledge of network and server infrastructure, IT operations, and security practices.
- Experience in budget management, risk assessment, and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technological advancements.
