Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will design and execute a program to enable 5iron to attract and retain the best workforce available. The role will develop and manage measurable systems to source and recruit talented candidates to this growing organization. Building and maintaining trusted relationships with 5iron hiring managers, the Specialist acts as an ambassador to professionally represent 5iron to communities and talent pools of professionals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to determine position requirements and deadline for submission
  • Create and manage job postings
  • Build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external stakeholders
  • Regular follow-up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with hiring leaders; interviewing applicants based on a consistent set of qualifications
  • Arrange interviews by coordinating schedules of hiring managers and applicants
  • Verbally extend offers and secure acceptance
  • Maintain a strong pipeline, developing and branding the company name
  • Attend networking events, career fairs, and association meetings
  • Oversee strategic initiatives for recruiting talent
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with federal/state laws and regulations
  • Keep informed of best practices and legal requirements in Talent Acquisition

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of technical recruiting experience, OR,
  • Associate degree and five years of corporate/agency recruiting experience, OR,
  • High school diploma/GED and seven years of corporate/agency recruiting experience
  • A proven record of successfully and rapidly recruiting high caliber technical professionals
  • Technical proficiency with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for Information Security roles

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques such as recruiting on social platforms, etc.
  • Experience recruiting for cyber security roles
  • Recruiter certifications such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or CIR

  • Must be a team player, with ability and willingness to work with others

 

ADDITIONAL

  • All candidates will be required to take an extensive background screen, credit screen, and drug screen prior to employment.
  • As this is an on-site position in the 5iron SOC in Franklin, TN (Relocation support available for ideal candidates)
